Over de functie

As a Production Operator at Polyplastic, your task is to produce high-quality plastic windows and doors used in campers, caravans, and supermarket refrigerators. The factory has several departments focusing on different processes. Your responsibilities may include:

• Removing protective film from acrylic sheets and blowing off fine dust particles with antistatic air
• Performing preparatory tasks such as washing, exposing, and filming screens
• Heating the sheets and placing them under a press machine
• Milling and sawing
• Quality control

You mainly work from Monday to Friday, with occasional weekend shifts, in a two-shift system with the following hours:

• 06:30 to 15:00
• 15:00 to 23:30

Polyplastic, part of Lippert, is based in Rotterdam, employing around 500 people. They focus on sustainability and produce high-quality acrylic materials for various industries. The site is 15 minutes from Schiedam Centrum, with parking and bike storage available.

• Basic salary of € 14.83 gross per hour
• Travel allowance of € 0.23 per km from 10 km
• 14% shift allowance when working in 2 shifts
