Under our own label, eCumulus, we offer a multi-cloud platform for workplace, hosting, and network services. We serve over 300 clients. Together with your 300+ colleagues, you’ll work flexibly from home, at the client’s location, or at our headquarters in Utrecht.
Team Lead Engineering: Network
As Team Lead Engineering: Network, you are responsible for the daily management and results of the Network team, as well as the development and guidance of your team members. Your focus is on resource planning and team engagement and growth. You are responsible for achieving (operational) objectives and the associated KPIs of the team. In this role, you’ll contribute to improving processes, methods, and our products/services, helping to meet our organizational goals.
With your eye for resource planning and operational objectives, you’ll play an active role in driving innovation and optimization. Your contribution helps us improve continuously and achieve our key targets.

What will you do?
Guiding, motivating, and developing your team and its individual members to help them achieve their goals and excel in their roles.
Developing and implementing strategies to improve the department.
Translating departmental goals into individual objectives and ensuring proper distribution and planning of work (resource planning).
Creating, maintaining, and analyzing team performance reports, monitoring tasks, and tracking time spent to foster continuous improvement.
Monitoring projects and day-to-day work, ensuring accurate time tracking and enabling timely adjustments where needed.
What do you bring

Over 3 years of experience in a leadership role within an IT environment—think Lead Engineer, Architect, Team Lead, or Engineering Manager.
A true people manager with strong leadership and coaching skills. You put people first.
Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data and generate strategic insights.
In-depth knowledge of network protocols, network architecture, segmentation, data security, and load balancing.
Experience with Azure Cloud and hybrid network solutions, and automating network processes using DevOps principles.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills—both verbal and written.

You’ll receive a competitive salary (€5,000–€7,000 per month), holiday allowance, and:

Hybrid working with a home-office allowance (€25/month + €4 per day worked from home).
