Over de functie

As a Crop Worker B, you’ll support daily greenhouse and crop care activities under the guidance of experienced team members. You will carry out a variety of technical and hands-on tasks, ensure accuracy in plant handling, and help maintain a safe and tidy work environment. You may also guide temporary workers when assigned.

Key Tasks & Responsibilities:

• Perform a wide range of crop care activities, including sowing, watering, twisting plants, lowering plants, planting, leaf cutting, vibrating trusses, harvesting, and seed extraction
• Identify and report diseases, pests, and deviations in plant quality
• Keep the greenhouse and workspaces clean and organized
• Prepare and clean facilities before and after crop cycles
• Work accurately with large numbers of plants and follow all work orders and instructions
• Guide or supervise temporary workers during assigned tasks
• Use and operate greenhouse tools and equipment
• Use computer systems for daily work registrations
• Follow safety and phytosanitary protocols and attend mandatory safety meetings

Working days: Monday to Friday (day shift only)

Wat wij vragen

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Crop Worker or Greenhouse Worker
• Communication skills in English or Dutch
• Willingness to learn and work across multiple crops and work locations
• Comfortable using tools, equipment, and basic machinery
• Basic computer skills

• Gross hourly wage: €16.63
• Travel allowance: €0.23 per km
• Overtime allowance of 140% above 38 hours per week
• 8.33% holiday pay + 25 vacation days per year
